Wednesday Jan. 20th - Public Workshop for 2010 Urban Water Management Plan

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is holding a public workshop tomorrow, Wednesday Jan. 20th, at 5:00pm to elicit views on the future of Los Angeles’s water supply.

Last updated in 2005, the City is now preparing its 2010 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP).  The UWMP deals with the management and development of water resources, including efforts relating to the efficient use of water, existing and future water conservation measures, water recycling, and management of the City’s groundwater basins.   The workshop will feature a presentation followed by a group discussion.
